Kate Knight
After 25 years working in international diplomacy, and ten years in education overseas, I bring deep experience of working across cultures and in difficult and stressful environments.
I have been a coach for over ten years and hold a Diploma in Professional Coach-Mentoring from the OCM in Oxford and an MSc in Executive Coaching from Ashridge Hult Business School. I am a member of the EMCC (European Mentoring and Coaching Council) and adhere to their Code of Ethics.
While coaching, many clients talked of anxieties, such as imposter syndrome, low self-esteem, workplace relationship difficulties, how personal problems impacted on their performance at work and how problems at work affected their personal lives.
I recognised a need to deepen my understanding of how my clients’ struggles today might be impacted by earlier life experiences and beliefs about themselves. That led me to train as a Psychotherapist.
I am a Certified Transactional Analyst (European Association of Transactional Analysis) with a Metanoia Diploma in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapeutic Counselling and an MSc in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy.
I am a registered member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and also the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I adhere to their codes of Ethics.
I am experienced in working with clients facing a range of challenges in life, whether work related or in their personal lives.
